About
We're a 7-figure e-commerce company selling physical products to businesses and professionals. We run conversion-focused video advertising on Meta (Facebook/Instagram) and are looking for a skilled video editor to help us produce scroll-stopping ads that drive purchases.
The Role
You'll edit 4-5 short-form video ads per week (30 seconds to 2 minutes each) using provided scripts and existing raw footage/product shots. Ad styles include:
UGC-style talking head / testimonial ads
Product demos and unboxings
Problem-solution narrative ads (VSL-style)
Hook variation testing (multiple hooks per core ad)
You'll be expected to source supporting visuals (stock footage, B-roll, lifestyle scenes) and generate content where appropriate to keep production fast and cost-effective.
What We're Looking For
Proven experience editing direct-response video ads for e-commerce (not brand/awareness — we need ads that sell)
Strong understanding of Meta ad creative best practices — pacing, hooks, CTAs, native-feeling content
Proficiency in Premiere Pro, CapCut, or DaVinci Resolve
Ability to deliver completed edits within 48 hours of receiving a brief
Good eye for pacing, text overlays, and visual storytelling that holds attention
Bonus Points
Experience with Shopify-based e-commerce brands
Familiarity with TikTok-style ad formats
Ability to suggest creative concepts and hooks, not just execute briefs
Experience split-testing ad creatives (hook swaps, CTA variations, etc.)

We're looking for a long-term collaboration, not a one-off project. If you're the right fit, there's consistent, ongoing work here.
Contract duration of 1 to 3 months.
