• One year of general work experience that demonstrates sound decision-making skills, ability to learn regulations through classroom training or on-the-job instruction, and gathering information through questioning, observation, or examination.


• A bachelor's degree in any field with superior academic achievement based on class standing (GPA 3.0 or higher) as recognized by an accredited college or university; OR one full year of graduate-level education in law enforcement-related fields such as criminal justice from an accredited institution.
