Border Security Professional

This is an exciting opportunity to join the US Customs and Border Protection team as a Customs and Border Protection Officer. As a CBPO, you will play a critical role in safeguarding our nation's borders while facilitating the flow of legitimate trade and travel.

• We are seeking highly motivated individuals who possess excellent communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and physical stamina to perform duties that include enforcing customs, immigration, and agriculture laws;
• Facilitating inspections of individuals, conveyances, cargo shipments, electronic data transmissions for admissibility purposes;
  

• Determining individual eligibility for entry into the United States;
  

Typically assigned duties involve working varied shifts including nights overtime weekends holidays etc within operational needs also specific locations may require occasional remote duty when not at home location sometimes remaining away from their station up to one week or more without official order but always ensuring communications with agent appropriate supervision/training timely reports ready assistance progress installations schedule events planned actions rendered prompt
