Job Title: Customs and Border Protection Officer

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) is seeking highly motivated individuals to join our workforce as Customs and Border Protection Officers (CBPO). As a CBPO, you will play a critical role in safeguarding America's borders, enforcing customs laws, facilitating legitimate trade and travel while preventing illegal activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enforce customs laws including inspection of conveyances ,and individual travelling into US
- Determine admissibility for entry to United States by analyzing supporting documentation & interviewing candidate traveling personnel entering US from outside country boundaries.
bThe areas are monitored through sensors & observation towers at international frontiers like sea coastlines lake fronts.
bYou must communicate clearly concisely analyze situations make decision quickly remain focused during high-pressure scenarios when working long hours on foot patrol or operating equipment like drones alike every day away home time spent responding emergency calls frequent disruptions weekend work sometimes annual leave delayed .due continuous operational environment protect citizens homeland interests requiring ability stay calm professional even difficult circumstances dealing public often anxious aggressive people because they want answers solutions problems not willing listen reason compassion patience diligence needed resolve complicated issues whether people criminals immigrants trying enter illegally smuggle goods drugs etc./li>
