Customs and Border Protection Officer Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated Customs and Border Protection Officer to join our team. As a CBPO, you will be part of a large workforce dedicated to protecting the American people by safeguarding our borders.
Career Opportunities:
- To assist in enforcing U.S. customs laws, immigration regulations, and agriculture protection standards at ports of entry.
- To conduct inspections and interviews with travelers, as well as examine goods entering the country for prohibited items or contraband.
- To operate various equipment such as metal detectors, X-ray machines, and other machinery used in searching cargo containers.
Working Conditions:
The duties listed above may involve exposure to unsanitary conditions; temperatures ranging from extreme heat to extreme cold; possible contact with dangerous animals; fatigue due to extended periods standing on concrete floors while inspecting vehicles or personnel. You must meet all necessary requirements under current law including but not limited to drug testing/urinalysis screening prior employment status once confirmed. ,
