The U.S. Customs and Border Protection agency is seeking highly skilled individuals to join its team as Customs and Border Protection Officers.
About the Role
- We are looking for dedicated professionals who can enforce customs, immigration, and agriculture laws while facilitating legitimate trade and travel.
This position requires strong judgment skills to make rapid decisions regarding import/export regulations, law enforcement methods, intelligence techniques, behavior analysis, risk assessments, interviews in a law enforcement capacity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Detecting suspected violators of federal/state/local laws by detaining/arresting using proper LE methods.
- Enforcing regulations relating to importing/exporting/international shipping from/to USA via inspections of cargo/bags/merchandise.
