What is missing is scale on the distribution side.
Our goal is to make the brand unavoidable to beginners before they ever see an ad or speak to sales. Short-form content is not a branding exercise for us. It is a familiarity and trust engine that directly supports paid traffic and sales performance.
Role Description:
This is a part-time, remote role for a Short-Form Content Distribution Lead. The role is focused entirely on turning long-form YouTube content into consistent, high-performing short-form distribution across platforms.
This is not a social media manager role.
This is not a video editing role.
This role owns distribution logic, clip selection, framing decisions, and performance feedback loops. You will not edit clips yourself, but you will direct how content is extracted, positioned, and deployed across platforms.
You will work closely with editing, copy, and publishing support, while retaining full ownership of what goes out, where, and why.
Core Responsibility:
Turn each long-form YouTube video into a volume-driven, repeatable short-form system that builds familiarity, trust, and authority with beginner audiences in Australia.
Responsibilities:
- Decide which moments from each long-form YouTube video should be clipped, typically 15 to 25 clips per video
- Define how each clip should be framed based on platform context and audience behavior
- Create clear content buckets, including education, credibility, beginner mistakes, and disqualification
- Design and maintain a weekly posting and distribution cadence across platforms
- Direct and coordinate with a clip editor, hook and caption copywriter, and publishing VA
- Provide clear guidance on hooks, framing, and retention priorities per clip
- Identify which organic clips have the potential to transition into paid ad creatives
- Review performance signals and refine clip selection logic over time
- You own the decision-making. Editing and publishing are execution layers.

- Daily, consistent posting across all relevant platforms
- Repeatable clip formats that sustain performance over time
- Audience familiarity established before paid traffic touchpoints
- Sales team feedback indicating prospects already recognize the brand
- Organic content generating inputs for paid advertising creatives
- Performance is measured by business impact, not surface-level engagement.

- Someone who has built or run short-form distribution systems
- A systems thinker who prioritizes repeatability over trends
- Strong understanding of hooks, retention, and watch-time mechanics
- Experience with education, coaching, or info-based businesses
- Comfortable making decisions independently and owning outcomes
Who This Role Is Not For:
This role is not suitable if your background is limited to social media management, editing-only work, meme pages, aesthetic-first content, or chasing viral spikes without strategic intent.
Required Experience:
- Demonstrated experience distributing short-form content at scale
- Clear understanding of how long-form content should be repurposed
- Strong platform literacy across Reels, TikTok, Shorts, and Facebook
- Ability to explain why a clip should perform, grounded in audience behavior
Time and Engagement:
- Ongoing monthly engagement:
Approximately 10 to 15 hours per week
- Compensation based on experience and demonstrated capability
