A day in the life of a CBPO may involve conducting inspections of individuals and conveyances, enforcing regulations relating to importing and exporting merchandise, utilizing intelligence techniques to identify potential threats, and performing risk assessments for violations of laws. Additionally, as a law enforcement officer, you must be able to make rapid decisions with respect to the application of regulations.
