Protect America's borders and safeguard its economic prosperity as a Customs Officer.
Key Responsibilities:- Enforce customs, immigration, and agriculture laws and regulations
- Facilitate legitimate trade and travel
The ideal candidate will possess excellent judgment skills, be able to make rapid decisions, and have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. They must also be proficient in interviewing suspects for law enforcement purposes.
Job Requirements:
To qualify for this role, candidates must meet one of the following requirements: experience or education. Experience includes detaining suspected violators of federal/state/local laws/arresting violators using proper methods/enforcing laws relating to importing/exporting/international shipping enforcing intelligence techniques/behavior analysis/risk assessments/law enforcement interviews. Education requires a master's degree or higher (or 2+ years graduate education) leading to such degree or an LL.B/J.D from accredited college/university combination of specialized experience & successfully completed graduate-level education calculated resume & official transcripts submitted with application.
Candidates must be U.S citizens/reside within primary U.S residency (includes protectorates under international law) for at least three out five years.
