This role involves detecting and questioning people suspected of violating immigration and custom laws; inspecting documents and possessions; preventing and apprehending undocumented noncitizens; performing farm checks, building checks; patrolling international boundaries using various government assets.

• Detecting individuals or groups attempting to cross the border illegally;
• Inspecting vehicles for contraband or evidence of human smuggling;
• Maintaining surveillance from covert positions using infrared scopes during night operations;
