Job Description

• Conduct surveillance from covert positions, inspect documents and possessions to determine citizenship or violations


• Prevent undocumented noncitizens and smugglers of noncitizens at or near the borders using infrared scopes during night operations


• Detect tracks, marks, and other physical evidence of illegal entry of persons or contraband


• Perform farm checks, building checks, traffic checks, city patrols, and transportation checks in designated areas


• Patrol international boundaries and coastal waterways using vehicles such as boats for accomplishment of mission objectives.
