  The CBP officer plays a critical role in preventing smuggling operations at U.S. ports of entry while promoting legitimate trade.
  


• The job involves enforcing customs regulations including law enforcement action if necessary; reviewing traveler documents ensuring compliance with applicable statutes or directives;
  detecting undeclared agricultural products through observational techniques & inspecting inbound commodities shipments physically OR
  aide instructed cargo verification programs prescribed by USA equity registry standards;
  determines admissibility status clearance guidelines- verifying immigration/visa documentation inside national borders federal incident grounds/enforcement management systems VO communication adherences T
