- The Customs and Border Protection Officer is responsible for enforcing customs, immigration, and agriculture laws.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enforcing customs, immigration, and agriculture laws at borders
- Facilitating legitimate trade and travel while preventing smuggling of illegal goods
- Determining admissibility of individuals for entry into the United States
- Making determinations in compliance with laws that may lead to arrests or fines based on findings.
