Duties and Responsibilities:
- Enforcing customs, immigration, and agriculture laws and regulations
- Facilitating legitimate trade and travel
- Conducting inspections of individuals and conveyances
- Determining admissibility for entry into the United States
Required Skills & Qualifications:
To qualify for this position at GS-5 level: Possess one year full-time work experience OR Bachelor's degree with Superior Academic Achievement OR Combination of Experience & Education; At GS-7 level: One year specialized work experience equivalent to next lower grade or one year graduate-level education; Or combination thereof;
The Customs & Border Protection Agency welcomes applicants from various backgrounds including current law enforcement or military law enforcement experiences who may qualify for higher levels such as GS-9. Residency requirements include being U.S citizen having primary residency within three years out five.
