Border Security Specialist

The United States Customs and Border Protection (CBP) is seeking highly skilled individuals to fill the role of Customs and Border Protection Officer. As a CBPO, you will play a critical part in ensuring the safety and security of our nation by safeguarding its borders.

Your primary responsibility will be to enforce customs, immigration, and agriculture laws while facilitating the flow of legitimate trade and travel. You will work closely with other law enforcement agencies to prevent illegal entry into the country, smuggling of contraband goods, and other illicit activities.

• You will conduct thorough inspections of individuals, vehicles, cargo shipments as well as collect data from different sources such as databases or handbooks relating information that has been authorized before arriving at any specific location.
