About the Job
The Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Field Operations unit is seeking highly motivated individuals to join their elite team as CBP Officers. As a CBPO, you will be responsible for enforcing customs, immigration, and agriculture laws while facilitating legitimate trade and travel. This role requires strong analytical skills, effective communication abilities, and physical fitness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enforce Laws : Inspect people entering or leaving the country; inspect goods arriving at U.S. ports;
- Detect Threats**: Utilize intelligence techniques to identify potential threats such as smuggling operations;
- Risk Assessment**: Conduct thorough risk assessments on cargo shipments;
