**Customs and Border Protection Officer Role**

The Customs and Border Protection Officer role is a vital part of our nation's security, where you will have the opportunity to serve as a frontline protector of America. • You will be responsible for enforcing customs, immigration, and agriculture laws and regulations at U.S. ports-of-entry.


• You will conduct inspections of individuals and conveyances to prevent the smuggling of illegal goods into the country.


• You will determine admissibility for entry into the United States based on compliance with federal regulations.

This position requires excellent communication skills, ability to make rapid decisions under pressure, physical stamina due to repetitive tasks associated with conducting inspections & searches within work areas occupied by multiple people or sitting/sleeping bags.
