Eager Law Enforcement Professional Wanted

The U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) is seeking highly motivated individuals to join the Border Patrol as Law Enforcement Officers.

This is a career ladder position with a grade level progression of GL-5, GL-7, GL-9, GS-11, and GS-12. As a Border Patrol Agent, you will be responsible for enforcing immigration laws and protecting America's borders.

• Detected suspected violations of customs laws by inspecting documents and possessions to determine citizenship or violations;
• Prevented undocumented noncitizens from entering or exiting the country through surveillance activities such as tracking signs like footprints on our nation's lands along our international border locations including unique areas near waterways where some criminals travel by boats;
