Border Security Specialist

The Customs and Border Protection (CBP) is seeking highly skilled and dedicated individuals to fill the role of a Customs and Border Protection Officer. As a CBP officer, you will play a critical role in protecting America's borders by preventing the smuggling of illicit goods and enforcing customs regulations.

• Enforcing customs laws, regulations, and procedures related to importing/exporting merchandise;


• Conducting inspections of cargo/bags/merchandise for contraband or prohibited items;
  
• Determining admissibility/fate decisions based on legislative authority; detection/interdiction strategies; completion reports/databases workflow monitoring/responsibilities ;
  
• Making informed professional decisions regarding enforcing/law enforcement duties within federal statutes/guidelines;/Leadership/Mentoring opportunities available.
