Job Description:
The U.S. Customs and Border Protection is hiring full-time, entry-level career Law Enforcement Officers for the position of Border Patrol Agent. As a BPA, you will be part of our 60,000+ workforce that strives to protect the American people by safeguarding our borders.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Detecting and questioning people suspected of violating immigration laws
- Preventing illegal entry into the country by maintaining surveillance from covert positions
- Interpreting physical evidence to determine citizenship or violations
- Making arrests using firearms in accordance with law enforcement procedures
