What You'll Be Doing
Analyze HVAC systems using sequences of operation, mechanical drawings, and BAS data
Use CopperTree's FDD and other analytic tools to identify faults and performance improvement opportunities
Lead ongoing managed service engagements for assigned client portfolios
Conduct regular remote performance review meetings with facility teams and stakeholders
Support measurement & verification (M&V) of implemented improvements to validate results
Translate analytics findings into practical, performance-focused recommendations
Help drive adoption of recommended changes within client organizations through clear communication and structured follow-up
Review and validate system optimization opportunities across multiple facilities
Support long-term building performance initiatives and continuous improvement efforts
Who You Are
Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Science, or related field
P.Eng. (preferred) or eligible for registration in BC
7+ years of experience in HVAC systems, BAS controls, commissioning, or building performance
Strong understanding of system optimization and operational best practices
Comfortable working directly with clients and taking ownership of performance outcomes
Detail-oriented, analytical, and solutions-focused
Bonus Points If You Have
Experience with FDD or advanced analytics platforms
Background in commissioning and retrofits
