Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Line Cook role located in Toronto. The Line Cook will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality dishes in accordance with Earls' standards, maintaining an organized and clean kitchen workspace, and ensuring food safety and hygiene practices are strictly followed. Responsibilities include collaborating with the kitchen team to meet food preparation timelines, maintaining the quality of ingredients, and innovating new recipes as part of a dynamic team. The Line Cook may also be tasked with monitoring food inventory and ensuring efficient workflow within the kitchen environment.
Qualifications
Cooking and food preparation skills, with the ability to follow recipes and innovate new dishes
Knowledge of kitchen operations, food safety standards, and hygiene practices
Strong communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate effectively with kitchen staff
Time management and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Experience in a restaurant or kitchen setting is preferred
Culinary training or certification is a plus
