About FlowLinker:
FlowLinker is an Antler-backed B2B SaaS startup building the Specs Engine for technical sales.
In complex industries like industrial automation, robotics, and manufacturing, the real asset in a deal is the technical specification - yet today it lives in scattered notes, emails, CRMs, and conversations.
We are building the system of record for technical intent:
- capturing specifications live from calls, emails, and internal collaboration
- structuring them into governed data
- powering real-time AI workflows across the revenue team
You'll work directly with the founding engineering team and ship production features continuously.
This is not a research role - this is AI in a live product used by real customers.
What You'll Do:
- Design and build backend services that power the FlowLinker platform
- Develop and productionize AI-driven features (real-time and async)
- Build scalable APIs consumed by our front end
- Implement data pipelines for structured technical specifications
- Work on LLM orchestration, retrieval workflows, and evaluation logic
- Collaborate daily with the front-end and product team to ship end-to-end features
- Improve performance, reliability, and system architecture
- Proactively propose technical and product improvements
This is a product + systems role, not a ticket-execution role.
Tech Stack
You'll work primarily with:
- Python (AI / ML / data pipelines)
- / Typescript (Backend)
- API-first architecture
- Structured & real-time data workflows
- LLM integrations and orchestration
Example Problems You'll Work On:
- Turning raw conversations into structured technical specifications
- Real-time AI copilots for sales calls
- Retrieval and context pipelines for complex products
- Multi-tenant data architecture for governed technical truth
- AI evaluation and scoring systems
- Reliability and observability for AI workflows in production
What We're Looking For
- Strong backend experience in Python in production environments
- Experience shipping AI/LLM features in real products (not only notebooks)
- Strong system design and API architecture skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving startup with ambiguity
- High ownership and autonomy
- Product mindset — you build for users, not just for technical elegance
- Experience collaborating closely with front-end engineers
- Reliable, proactive, and detail-oriented
- Time zone overlap with North America

Engagement
Contract via Upwork
Up to 30h/week
Long-term collaboration if strong mutual fit
Early-stage budget → reasonable rates required
(we optimize for ownership, speed, and long-term growth)
Contract duration of more than 6 months. with 40 hours per week.
