Role Overview:
The Body Shop Canada is seeking a permanent, full time Graphic Designer to join our Marketing team. This role is responsible for delivering elevated, premium, polished creative across all customer touchpoints, from in-store campaigns to digital experiences, ensuring excellence in brand execution, production accuracy, and strong time management.
The ideal candidate combines strong creative instincts with operational discipline. You are highly organized, detail oriented, and thrive in a fast-paced retail environment managing multiple product launches and campaign timelines simultaneously. You take pride in delivering polished, on-brand work that meets global standards while driving local commercial impact.This is a full-time, in-office position based at our Yorkdale Mall office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop creative assets for omni-channel campaigns, including:
- In-store signage, window displays, point-of-sale materials and digital screen contents
- Digital assets for web, email, social media, programmatic - Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Visual Merchandising, eCommerce, Product and Retail Operations to bring campaigns to life
- Ensure all creative work aligns with The Body Shop's brand guidelines and sustainability values
- Use Figma to collaborate on UX/UI layouts and digital mockups
- Support in-situ mockups of store layouts or retail fixtures to visualize campaign implementation
- Participate in creative brainstorming and strategy sessions with internal teams
- Maintain consistency across all creative outputs and campaign touchpoints
- Manage multiple projects with overlapping deadlines in a deadline-driven environment
- Work closely with print vendors and external agencies to ensure accurate file preparation, production specs, and flawless execution.
Qualifications/Competencies:
- 3 to 5 years of professional graphic design experience, ideally within retail, beauty, lifestyle, or premium consumer brands
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects)
- Experience using Figma for digital design and collaboration
- Working knowledge of 3D rendering software such as SketchUp
- Strong understanding of digital, print, retail design, market trend best practices
- Exceptional communication, organization, and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple projects, manage competing deadlines, and take ownership of deliverables from brief to final execution
- Demonstrates accountability and professionalism by taking direction effectively and collaborating cross functionally while also working independently with confidence and sound judgment
Tools & Technology Proficiency:
- Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects
- Figma: UI design
- 3D Rendering Tools: SketchUp
- Microsoft Office Suite: PowerPoint, Word, Excel
- Video Editing Tools: Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or equivalent
