Job Description
As a key player in our nation's law enforcement team, you will have the opportunity to work closely with colleagues who share your commitment to protecting the American people. Your primary responsibilities will include detecting and questioning individuals suspected of violating immigration laws, inspecting documents and possessions for citizenship or violations, preventing unauthorized entry into the country, and more.
Required Skills & Qualifications
To succeed as a Border Patrol Agent, you must possess excellent communication skills, be physically fit and willing to adapt to diverse environments. You should also demonstrate sound judgment when handling firearms and making decisions that impact public safety. A high school diploma or equivalent is required; however advanced education can significantly enhance your prospects.
A bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university is highly valued if it has provided training related directly applicable field such as justice studies/homeland security!
