As a n essential part of the Security department, you'll work with the Dispatch team ! Here, you will operate and monitor the base radio console with nine frequencies. Job Status/Type: Seasonal Position Level: Associate Shift/Schedule Requirements: Ability to work various shifts and days including nights, weekends and holiday periods to meet business needs. Responsibilities: As a part of the Carowinds Dispatch team, y our daily assigned duties would be as follows : * Dispatch all routine and emergency traffic for assigned channels, including police/security and all first aid and fire department calls. * Monitor weather radar and lightning detector and advise appropriate units of weather conditions as directed by management. * Complete detailed reports before the end of scheduled shift on incidents occurring on the property. * Perform multiple tasks simultaneously with accuracy and efficiency. * Other duties may be assigned. Qualifications: * Park experience OR dispatch experience. * Ability to pass a background check, which may include, but is not limited t o criminal, DMV, previous employment, education, and personal references, per Company policy, unless prohibited by federal, state, or provincial law. * Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays, and open availability. * Driver's license required .
