About
In this role you work end to end across the site. You will translate and localize content, but you will also actively optimize it for performance. Your focus includes:
* Translating and localizing product and category copy, blogs, emails and UX microcopy
* Improving SEO essentials such as titles, meta descriptions, H2 and H3 structure and keyword variants
* Strengthening internal linking, anchor text and page structure so content matches search intent
* Working comfortably in a CMS to publish, update and maintain content independently
* Guarding our tone of voice and terminology across the German market
* Flagging technical or structural issues when you see them and helping the team move toward solutions
You combine language with performance thinking. You use Google Search Console, simple GA4 reports and Ahrefs or similar tools to spot opportunities, understand what is working and decide what to optimize next. You translate data into action, for example:
* Quick, high impact content edits based on query and page performance
* Smarter structures and better targeting to improve rankings and CTR
* Clear, organized tracking in spreadsheets that the whole team can follow
We are looking for a native German speaker with strong English, a sharp ear for nuance and a solid grasp of SEO fundamentals. You have experience in e commerce or online content, and you understand how people shop when they are comparing, checking details and still hesitating. You work fast but carefully, you think in solutions, and you enjoy seeing your changes go live and actually move the needle.
It is a plus if you follow millennial culture and German interior or lifestyle trends, and if you have experience in digital content, social or e commerce marketing within home, fashion or lifestyle. If you love language, enjoy balancing creative craft with analytical thinking, and want to create content that genuinely connects, ranks and converts, we would love to hear from you.
Contract duration of more than 6 months. with 30 hours per week.
