We are looking for a 3W Project Engineer reporting to the Team Leader, 3W LU Spyder R&D, your main mandate will be to lead the design, development and validation of mechanical systems of a powersport product line. 

YOU'LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:

  • Develop system components from concept to production;

  • Develop the vision that guides system development on new platforms in the future;

  • Collaborate with the design, production, purchasing, quality assurance and manufacturing engineering teams, as well as suppliers, in the various stages of the product development process;

  • Participate in the establishment of performance criteria, draw up validation plans for each system and ensure their execution;

  • Participate in road tests to validate your concepts and ideas

  • Conduct studies, analyses and calculations to guide design technicians and project developers in their work, using general and specific technical parameters. 

YOU'LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES: 

  • A bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a relevant equivalent.

  • Enthusiasm for the various principles of operation and construction of the mechanical systems in a motor vehicle.

  • Demonstrated tenacity and efficiency in project management.

  • Good communication skills in French and English (written and spoken). English is required as the person will have to read technical and regulatory documentation not available in French, as well as communicate with international suppliers.

  • A valued collaborator and team player.
