Role
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
CoolIT Systems, Inc. is hiring a full-time Manufacturing Test Technician (Electro-mechanical) to join our manufacturing test team. You will be responsible for testing, troubleshooting, and validating electromechanical systems and components during the manufacturing process. This role involves using specialized equipment to verify that products meet design specifications, industry standards, and safety requirements. The technician works closely with engineering teams to identify and resolve issues, perform system integrations, and ensure that all tests are documented accurately. Additionally, the technician may support the assembly and calibration of systems, providing feedback to improve product design and manufacturing processes. Attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and strong problem-solving skills are essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities
Execute manufacturing testing for electromechanical subsystems and systems
Check for wiring accuracy for electromechanical subsystems and systems as per the work instructions
Support manufacturing capacity needs by performing timely end of line testing
Troubleshoot and rework units as part of manufacturing testing
Properly documenting test results, discrepancies, and corrective actions taken, maintaining traceability.
Perform wire harnessing for electromechanical system
Who You Are
Basic Qualifications:
3+ years of experience working in electromechanical systems, electrical testing, or related manufacturing environments.
Strong desire to learn new skills is a must. Familiarity with manufacturing processes and quality control standards is a plus.
Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose issues in electromechanical systems, analyzing data to identify root causes.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and tight deadlines.
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (e.g., engineers, production teams, and quality engineers).
Preferred Qualifications
Good understanding of electrical and electromechanical systems
Electrical or Mechatronics certification (e.g., IPC, ASE, or similar industry certifications) and Safety certifications such as OSHA for electrical safety standards is considered as a plus.
Ability to clearly communicate technical issues and test results to engineers and other team members.
Self-motivated and proactive
Strong attention to detail in following procedures and ensuring accurate testing results.
Strong work ethic and positive team attitude
Skills
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and system layouts.
Experience with test management software and automated test systems for documentation and reporting purposes.
Familiarity with industry quality control standards (e.g., ISO, IPC) and the ability to ensure that products meet these standards during the testing process.
Ability to work effectively with engineers, designers, and other technicians to resolve issues and improve systems.
Willingness to keep up with evolving technologies and methods in electromechanics, which are critical for troubleshooting new systems and equipment.
