About
The focus is on clean execution, technical quality, and consistent handover, working alongside an internal SEO lead. The goal is to reduce rework, improve page quality, and ensure all web updates support SEO rather than create clean-up work later.
Please note: We are looking for individual freelancers only. Agencies will not be considered.
Responsibilities:
-Create and update WordPress pages using provided content and design direction
-Maintain correct heading hierarchy (H1–H6)
-Format content cleanly within page builders
-Upload, size, and optimise images
-Fix layout, spacing, and responsive issues
-Identify obvious technical or formatting issues that may impact SEO
You will not be responsible for SEO strategy, but you must understand SEO fundamentals and follow best practices.
Required Skills & Experience
Must Have:
-Strong WordPress experience
-Hands-on experience with at least one major builder:
-Elementor
-Divi
-WPBakery
-Ability to follow technical standards and handover processes
-High attention to detail and consistency
Nice to Have Understanding Of:
-Heading structure
-Metadata basics
-Accessibility fundamentals
-AU English conventions
-Experience working with SEO teams or agencies
What We're Looking For
-Clean, SEO-ready page delivery
-Minimal revisions after handover
-Clear communication if something is unclear or could impact SEO
-Comfort working from structured briefs
Project Details
-Ongoing / long-term support for the right fit
-Trial tasks may be used before longer-term engagement
-Clear briefs and review process provided
-Multiple client sites (WordPress-based)
