About the Position
This career ladder position offers grade level progression from GL-5 to GS-12 with opportunities for promotions after completing required training.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Inspect documents and possessions to determine citizenship or violations
- Pursue undocumented noncitizens and smugglers at or near borders using surveillance methods including infrared scopes during night operations
- Interpret physical evidence of illegal entry and conduct farm checks, building checks, traffic checks, city patrols, transportation checks etc.
The following skills are essential: Mandatory Qualifications: ā¢ One year of general work experience demonstrating ability to make sound decisions in stressful situations
ā¢ Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university
ā¢ Combination of experience & education: calculated based on resume & transcripts submitted
