As a Customs and Border Protection Officer, you will be part of the Department of Homeland Security workforce, protecting American interests and enhancing economic prosperity.
The position involves enforcing customs, immigration, and agriculture laws and regulations while facilitating legitimate trade and travel. You will conduct inspections of individuals and conveyances, determine admissibility for entry into the United States, and prevent illegal entry.
Duty locations include various mission-critical sites across the country. Preference locations may have recruitment incentives available such as up to $15,000 per year for three years in select duty stations.
