About
I am building a subscription-based SaaS web application that helps contractors calculate competitive, margin-protected tender pricing quickly and accurately.
The platform will allow users to upload tender pricing schedules, input their cost structure (labour, materials, overhead, profit), and automatically generate a completed pricing sheet with margin and profit analysis.
This is a B2B platform targeting HVAC, electrical, and engineering contractors.
I would preferably like to use:
GoHighLevel (for funnels, CRM, automation)
Zoho Creator (for backend database + logic)
Paystack (for subscription payments)
For the frontend dashboard, I am open to suggestions (Zoho Creator portal, custom frontend, or hybrid solution).
Core MVP Features
1. Authentication & Subscriptions
Secure login / client portal
Paystack subscription integration
Access restricted to paying users
Multi-tenant setup (each user sees only their data)
2. Tender Upload
Upload Excel pricing schedules (PDF optional for later phase)
Extract line items (description, quantity, unit)

Users must be able to input:
Labour rate per hour
Labour hours per item
Material cost
Overhead %
Desired profit %
System must calculate:
Unit rate
Total cost
Profit per line
Overall margin %
Calculations must update dynamically.
4. Margin Risk Indicator
Visual indicator based on margin thresholds:
Red (low margin)
Yellow (competitive)
Green (strong margin)
5. Export & Dashboard
Export completed pricing sheet to Excel
Export summary to PDF
Basic dashboard showing:
Total projected profit
Margin %
Tender history
Tech Structure (Preferred)
Zoho Creator → backend database, forms, logic
GoHighLevel → landing pages, CRM, automation
Paystack → subscription billing
Integration via API / Webhooks / Zapier / Make
Open to architecture suggestions if there is a cleaner, scalable approach.
Important Requirements
Experience building SaaS platforms
Experience with Zoho Creator workflows (Deluge)
Experience integrating Paystack subscriptions
Understanding of multi-tenant architecture
Clean UI/UX dashboard design
Ability to advise on best structure
This is not a simple calculator. It must be built as a scalable SaaS product.
Project Goal
Build and launch an MVP within 6–8 weeks that includes:

Export functionality
Future expansion will include analytics, benchmarking, and team collaboration.
