The Role:

We are looking for a Program Coordinator (Co-op) to join our Energy team, beginning in the Summer 2026 work term
We're in search of someone who believes that the energy landscape is bustling with new opportunity You'll work with passionate energy professionals that serve the largest utilities - as well as a broad network of energy ecosystem partners - across North America, developing a wide range of distributed energy management programs.
This is cutting-edge stuff that will shape the future of energy supply and demand to build more resilient power grids across North America. Be part of this exciting time of change

How You'll Make an Impact:

  • Working with the team and our client base on developing new and unique energy efficiency and peak load management programs
  • Supporting data analytics for our energy programs
  • Supporting day-to-day sales operations and management of utility programs, using various customer relationship management (CRM) tools and in collaboration with other teams at ecobee
  • Working with our marketing team to help execute, measure and report on program marketing campaigns
  • Supporting the team with process design and documentation
  • Building relationships across all teams at ecobee to help maximize the impact of the Energy team

What You Bring to the Table:

  • A current student studying sales, marketing, business, or environmental studies
  • You care about the future of our planet and have a passion for making energy management easy and accessible for consumers
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Comfortable speaking with external clients and customers, as well as with key internal stakeholders
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask
  • A willingness to learn about all parts of the ecobee Energy engine
  • Just so you know: successfully hired candidates will be required to complete a criminal background check

  • The target salary range for this position will be around $53,000 - $61,480 CAD based on experience
