Job Description: The Registered Psychiatric Nurse/Registered Nurse (RPN/RN) is accountable for promoting high quality care through assessing, planning, implementing, documenting and evaluating the total care needs of our patients.

Education

  • Bachelor of Psychiatric Nursing (BPN)

Other Education and Training

  • Bachelor of Nursing is acceptable
  • Nursing diploma is acceptable
  • Psychiatric Nursing diploma is acceptable

  • Knowledge of commonly used psychotropic medications
  • Ability to keep effective work relationships with clients of diverse backgrounds

Additional Comment

  • No guaranteed hours. Must be Available a minimum of twenty-four (24) hours per 3 week period. Must be available all shifts, short shifts, short notice calls, stats and holidays, where applicable
