Interfor is looking
for skilled, safety‑focused, and motivated Industrial Millwrights to join our
team in Timmins. In this role, you'll play a key part in keeping our mill
running at peak performance by maintaining, troubleshooting, and enhancing
industrial equipment across the operation.
This position offers
competitive compensation at $42.81 per hour and a Monday to Thursday, nights,
afternoons and days rotation with 10-hour shifts.

What You'll Do

• Repair equipment: conveyors, hydraulic and
  pneumatic components, automated systems, etc. (including welding);
•  Identify the cause of machinery
  breakdowns or malfunctions and do the necessary repairs;
• Install/optimize/adjust all the equipment
  in the mill to maximize its efficiency;
• Respond to emergencies when mechanical
  breakdowns affect operations;
• Operate machining tools to
  manufacture parts.

What You Offer

• Red Seal Millwright or Planer Technician certification required. 
  
• Strong safety background. 
  
• Sawmill/planer experience an asset. 
  
• Good technical, problem solving and trouble-shooting skills. 
  
• Mechanical/electrical aptitude.
