About the Role
The Senior Analytics Engineer is a technical leader responsible for domain‑level modeling, semantic layer design, governed metrics, and cross‑team enablement. This role operates with minimal supervision and leads best‑practice adoption across teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect domain models and LookML layers.
- Lead cross‑team KPI and governance efforts.
- Optimize Snowflake and Looker performance.
- Mentor Analytics Engineers.
- Improve CI/CD, testing, observability.
Basic Qualifications
- 5–7+ years in Analytics/Data Engineering.
- Expert SQL, modeling, LookML.
- Strong Snowflake optimization skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience leading metric governance.
- Experience influencing engineering standards.
