We are seeking a Technical Trainer with strong instructional and presentation skills to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience delivering engaging technical training sessions and developing high-quality training materials. Preference will be given to candidates with experience using AVEVA software . This role will primarily focus on conducting virtual, instructor-led classes and supporting our technical support team as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver virtual instructor-led training sessions to customers and internal teams.
- Develop and maintain training materials , including presentations, manuals, and e-learning content.
- Ensure training content is accurate, up-to-date, and aligned with product functionality.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to enhance course content and improve learner outcomes.
- Assist the technical support team by providing product expertise and troubleshooting when required.
- Stay current on product updates and industry best practices to continuously improve training offerings.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in technical training , instructional design, or a similar role.
- Strong presentation and communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
- Experience with AVEVA software (preferred).
- Familiarity with virtual training platforms (e.g., Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Webex).
- Ability to create engaging and effective training materials.
- Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to assist with technical support inquiries.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of industrial automation, process control, or related technologies.
- Experience with learning management systems (LMS) and e-learning development tools.

This amount is what we reasonably believe we will pay for the position; however, offer amounts may vary based on factors such as geographic location, relevant education, experience, qualifications, skills, shift, or any collective bargaining agreements.
For eligible positions, compensation may include participation in a bonus or sales incentive plan, subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable plan documents. For certain sales roles, EECOL also offers a commission structure that provides additional compensation based on sales results, as defined by the applicable commission plan.
