The Customs and Border Protection Officer plays a vital part in enforcing customs, immigration, and agriculture laws while facilitating legitimate trade and travel. They are responsible for conducting inspections of individuals and conveyances, determining admissibility for entry into the United States, preventing illegal entry and smuggling activities.

Candidates will be asked to provide preference for one of several mission-critical locations across the country. Some duty stations offer recruitment incentives ranging from $15,000 up to $45,000 per year based on service contracts.
