Job Description
The U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) is seeking highly skilled and motivated individuals to fill the position of Border Patrol Agent - Experienced . As a member of our elite team, you will play a critical role in safeguarding America's borders, deterring illicit activity, and enhancing national economic prosperity.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Suspect immigration law violators by conducting patrols along roadsides, waterways, or other designated areas. Determine citizenship status through interviews, document inspections, or physical evidence analysis.
- Inspect documents
and possessions for accuracy during traffic stops, border crossings, vehicle searches, - Routine patrol operations entail
detecting potential security threats while enforcing laws relevant to federal jurisdiction.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
The successful candidate must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level performing duties such as:
