In this role, you will play a crucial part in the electronic design, firmware development, manufacturing, testing, and support of a state-of-the-art real-time embedded system designed to validate the Full Authority Digital Engine Control (FADEC) for internal GE Aerospace clients and other customers. Our FADEC Test System (FTS) is instrumental in conducting Software-in-the-Loop (SIL) and Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing. You'll be involved in the entire lifecycle of engine control systems, from initial design to field support. Lead projects with minimal resources, effectively communicating complex concepts and influencing team perspectives. Are You the Right Fit? To thrive in this role, you should hold a Master's Degree in Engineering or Sciences from an ABET-accredited institution and have at least 6 years of hands-on experience in electronic design and testing, especially within avionics or similar fields. Due to the nature of our work, obtaining and maintaining a US Government Security Clearance is essential; therefore, U.S. citizenship is a prerequisite. In Return, We Offer: A competitive base salary ranging from $200,000 - $220,000. Annual discretionary bonuses. Comprehensive healthcare benefits, including medical, dental, vision, and prescription coverage. Retirement benefits with matching contributions and access to planning resources. Support for education through tuition assistance and various other benefits. This position not only offers exceptional career growth opportunities but also the chance to make a significant impact in the aerospace industry. Join us in shaping the future of engine control systems! Apply now to be a part of a dynamic team that values innovation and excellence.
