    SALARY:   from  £ 68,216.8 0   per annum  dependent on experience  

    LOCATION:  One Delaware Drive, Milton Keynes, MK15 8HG  

    HYBRID WORKING:  Our current hybrid working policy requires a minimum of 60% of working time to be based in the Milton Keynes office however flexibility is expected to meet the needs of the business and the role.

    We’re  looking for  data leader to  shape our  enterprise-wide analytics  capability,  t his influential role will be critical to our data transformation and will drive the establishment  of an analytics centre of excellence that produce s  game-changing analytics,  elevate s  reporting standards  across the business , and inspire s  a team of high-performing Data Analysts and Insight Specialists.     If the answers are yes then this could be the role for you, this role is pivotal in ensuring our organisation  o perates  with clarity,  confidence  and high-quality information—right up to Board and FSAG level.   

    What  you’ll  be doing:

    •   Leading and developing a central analytics team—how will you inspire them to be their best?
    •   Enhancing and standardising senior-level reporting and presentations—can you make complex data compelling?
    •   Improving automated and standard reporting across VWFS UK and VW Bank UK.
    •   Translating performance insight into risks,  opportunities  and actionable recommendations.
    •   Owning analytics and visualisation tools (e.g. Tableau, Business Objects)
    •   Driving consistency through clear standards and controls across analytics and reporting.
    • S u pporting Front Office and Operations teams with meaningful commercial and customer insight.
    •   Championing statistical analysis linked to key customer behaviours—how would you uncover the “why” behind performance?
    • Collaborating across our data leadership community to  allocate  resources where they create the most value.
    •   Promoting a data-driven culture—how would you help teams embrace data literacy and adoption?  

    What  you’ll  bring:  

    Are you an experienced leader who knows how to build trust, stretch capability, and bring people with you? 

    Essential experience & skills 

    •   Strong team  leadership with proven coaching and mentoring experience.
    •   Ability to simplify technical content for non-technical audiences—can you tell a compelling data story?
    •   Experience in data mining, quantitative analysis, cluster  analysis  and pattern recognition.
    •   Confidence influencing senior stakeholders with clarity and empathy.
    •   Ability to assess complex commercial challenges and recommend long-term solutions.
    •   Project leadership experience and the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
    •   A proactive, analytical mindset with the courage to challenge, explore and innovate.
    •   A track record  of delivering at pace under pressure.

    What’s  in it for you?  

    Bonus:  Discretionary 10% on-target bonus (based on personal and Group company performance)  

    Pension:   Employer pension contribution of 9% (based on employee contribution of 3%). VWFS will pay 6% if employee chooses a 2% employee contribution.
