Responsibilities:
- Read order sheets or use RF scanners to identify and locate products in the warehouse.
- Retrieve the correct items and quantities from inventory shelves.
- Ensure accuracy of picked items against order requirements.
- Transport picked items to the packing or staging area.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines, including the proper use of PPE.
- Operate equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks when necessary.
- Report any discrepancies, damaged items, or safety concerns to a supervisor.
- Meet established picking productivity goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a warehouse role is a plus.
- Ability to perform lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good stamina for walking, standing, and moving for extended periods.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Familiarity with warehouse safety practices and logistics.
- Willingness to wear required PPE.
