We are seeking a skilled and reliable Forklift Operator to join our dynamic logistics team in Cincinnati, Ohio. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating forklifts to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. You will be a crucial part of our warehouse operations, ensuring the efficient and safe flow of goods. This role requires a strong commitment to safety protocols and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Attention to detail is paramount to prevent damage to products and ensure inventory accuracy. You will be expected to perform routine checks on forklifts to ensure they are in good working order and report any maintenance needs promptly. Adherence to all company policies and procedures, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), is mandatory.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts to move materials around the warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently and accurately.
- Pick and stage orders for shipment.
- Conduct daily inspections of forklift equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Assist with inventory counts and reconciliation.
- Follow all safety guidelines and procedures.
- Demonstrate safe lifting techniques when handling products.
