Job Summary:
We are looking for a dedicated Distribution Center Associate to join our team in Madison, Wisconsin. This role is vital to the seamless operation of our distribution network, ensuring that products are managed, stored, and dispatched efficiently and accurately. As a Distribution Center Associate, you will perform a variety of tasks including receiving and inspecting incoming shipments, accurate put-away of goods, order picking, packing, and preparing items for outbound logistics. You will work closely with a team to maintain high levels of productivity and accuracy. A commitment to safety is essential, including the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and adherence to all operational safety procedures. The physical nature of the job involves frequent lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanning technology is preferred, but training will be provided for motivated individuals. Responsibilities:
  • Receive, inspect, and process incoming inventory.
  • Accurately store goods in designated warehouse locations.
  • Pick and pack orders according to customer specifications.
  • Prepare products for shipment, ensuring proper labeling and packaging.
  • Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy through diligent tracking and counting.
  • Adhere to all company safety policies and wear required PPE.
  • Keep work areas clean, organized, and hazard-free.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to meet productivity targets.
  • Assist with loading and unloading of trucks as needed.
  • Participate in regular inventory audits and cycle counts.
  • Follow established procedures for order fulfillment and shipping.
