We are hiring an Order Picker in our busy Chicago, Illinois distribution center! This is a critical role within our logistics operations, directly impacting our ability to fulfill customer orders accurately and efficiently. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for accurately retrieving products from warehouse shelves based on customer orders. You will use handheld scanners to track inventory and ensure order accuracy. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, possesses good stamina for navigating the warehouse, and understands the importance of safety in all tasks. This role requires meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to exceeding expectations. Responsibilities include:
- Accurately picking items from warehouse shelves according to order lists.
- Using RF scanners and other technology to track order progress and inventory.
- Ensuring the quality and accuracy of picked items.
- Transporting picked items to the packing station.
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
- Adhering to all company safety policies and procedures, including proper Lifting techniques.
- Participating in inventory counts as needed.
- Communicating with team leads regarding any order discrepancies or issues.
