This role is integral to the daily functioning of our distribution center, involving a wide range of tasks to ensure efficient handling of goods. You will be responsible for receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping orders, playing a vital part in our supply chain. The ideal candidate is physically capable, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining a safe and organized work environment. We emphasize adherence to all Safety guidelines, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and verify incoming shipments.
- Stock and organize inventory accurately within the warehouse.
- Pick products according to customer orders, ensuring accuracy.
- Pack items carefully for shipment, maintaining product integrity.
- Prepare orders for shipment, including labeling and staging.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (training provided if needed).
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the warehouse space.
- Participate in regular inventory counts and stock management.
- Adhere strictly to all Safety regulations and protocols, including the use of PPE.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals in logistics.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse experience is beneficial but not essential.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent Lifting (up to 50 lbs) and prolonged standing/walking.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Understanding of basic Safety principles and willingness to follow them.
- Comfortable working in a warehouse environment and adhering to PPE requirements.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Good time management and organizational skills.
- Reliable and punctual attendance.
- Familiarity with logistics concepts is a plus.
