About
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Forklift Operator to join our dynamic logistics team in Las Vegas, Nevada. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating forklifts to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. This role is crucial to the efficient operation of our warehouse, ensuring timely and accurate handling of goods. You will be working in a fast-paced environment and must adhere to all safety regulations and procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts (sit-down, stand-up, electric) safely and efficiently to move materials around the warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper handling and placement of goods.
- Perform daily inspections of forklifts to ensure they are in good working condition, reporting any issues immediately.
- Scan and record inventory movements accurately using warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Assist with inventory counts and audits as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety standards.
- Follow all company policies and procedures, including those related to PPE and Safety.
- Collaborate with other warehouse associates to ensure smooth operations and meet production goals.
- Responsible for understanding and executing the core principles of logistics within the facility.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Forklift Operator with a valid certification.
- Ability to perform heavy Lifting, typically up to 50 pounds.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment and following all PPE guidelines.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including occasional overtime.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a warehouse setting.
