About
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Warehouse Coordinator for our facility in Omaha, Nebraska. This key role will oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and safety in all logistics activities. You will manage inventory levels, coordinate shipping and receiving, supervise warehouse staff, and maintain a safe working environment. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a thorough understanding of warehouse management systems, and a commitment to upholding our stringent safety standards, including the proper use of PPE. This position is vital to our supply chain operations.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and coordinate all aspects of warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, and shipping.
- Manage inventory levels, conduct cycle counts, and ensure inventory accuracy.
- Supervise and train warehouse staff, assigning tasks and monitoring performance.
- Ensure efficient workflow and optimal utilization of warehouse space.
- Implement and enforce all safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Maintain warehouse equipment and ensure it is in good working order.
- Coordinate with transportation and logistics providers to schedule deliveries and shipments.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, and receipts.
- Address and resolve operational issues and conflicts promptly.
- Foster a culture of safety and efficiency among the warehouse team.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Logistics or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience in warehouse coordination or management.
- Strong understanding of logistics, inventory management, and supply chain principles.
- Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and the importance of PPE.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
