Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves based on order slips.
- Verify the identity and quantity of items picked.
- Pack items securely and appropriately for shipping, using suitable packaging materials.
- Apply shipping labels and other necessary documentation.
- Operate scanning devices for inventory tracking and order fulfillment.
- Maintain a clean and orderly workspace, adhering to all safety standards.
- Follow all safety protocols, including the correct use of PPE, to ensure a safe working environment.
- Assist with inventory management tasks, such as cycle counts and stock replenishment.
- Perform lifting tasks according to safe work practices and guidelines.
- Support the overall logistics operations of the distribution center.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a picking and packing role or warehouse environment is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret order forms and product information.
- Experience with RF scanning equipment is beneficial.
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently and productively in a fast-paced setting.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform lifting tasks (up to 30 lbs) throughout the shift.
- Commitment to workplace safety and understanding of required PPE.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Familiarity with basic logistics and warehouse operations.
